Hey there! Are you a creative and ambitious junior interior / building design  student who knows how to have a good laugh? We've got an exciting opportunity for you! Our laid-back design firm in Manly is looking for a casual Junior Interior Design Assistant to join our team on a project-based gig.

Role Overview: As a Junior Interior Design Assistant, you'll work alongside our experienced building designer, bringing fresh ideas to the table. It's a hands-on role that'll give you a taste of real-world design experience and a chance to interact with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with our team to brainstorm and develop unique interior design concepts that'll make our clients smile.
  2. Put your design skills to the test using software like Revit and other design tools to create beautiful visualisations and plans.
  3. Help in selecting colours, materials, and furnishings to create inviting and stylish spaces.
  4. Get out and about - assist with measuring and documenting spaces during on-site visits.
  5. Contribute to the creation of presentation materials for client meetings, making sure they're engaging and fun.
  6. Enjoy the camaraderie - work closely with other team members to ensure seamless project coordination.

Requirements:

  1. Currently studying interior design or Building design, and you've got that creative spark that sets you apart.
  2. Comfortable with design software like Revit - don't worry; we won't ask you to do magic tricks with it.
  3. A sense of humour is a must! We love to laugh and make our workplace an enjoyable space.
  4. Great communication skills, so you can share ideas and collaborate with the team.
  5. Prior experience or internships in interior design is a bonus, but if not, we're cool as long as you're eager to learn.

Location: Our office is based in Manly directly opposite the wharf.
