The Victorian Building Authority (VBA) has introduced an approved form for the notification of contraventions of Section 33(1) and Section 33(2) under Section 33(3) of the Building Act 1993 .
Building surveyors are obliged to comply with the notification requirement to assist the VBA with action aimed at improving builder compliance.
